Friends for Days!

Welcome to another blog award post. This is for the tag Friends for Days. I admit, I had been putting this one off for some time because it seemed like a lot of work. But here I am now. Better late than never, right?

I was nominated for this tag by the Dippy-Dotty Girl. I know what her name is, though since I can’t find it on her blog, I will leave it at Dippy-Dotty Girl. Dippy-Dotty Girl has one of my favourite blogs to read. I especially love her way of writing. She really creats an emotion that makes you feel like you are right beside her. Her stories are always fun and funny to read. I do hope she will let me know when she writes a book because I already want to read it.

The Friends for Days tag was created by Cheila at Pink for Days, and she would like to say

“Dear bloggers, my name is Cheila and I blog at Pink for Days. I would love to get to know you and your blog, so feel free to stop by and leave a link. I would be happy to read your posts and to support you in any way I could.”

The rules of the Friends for Days tag are
  • Say who created the tag and provide a link to their blog
  • Add this note with your tag

“Dear bloggers, my name is Cheila and I blog at Pink for Days. I would love to get to know you and your blog, so feel free to stop by and leave a link. I would be happy to read your posts and to support you in any way I could.”

  • Do a blog post showing your tag
  • Add the logo to the post
  • Always thank the person who nominated you, provide a link to their blog and, if you like, say something positive and supportive about their blog;
  • Choose 5 bloggers that you don’t know very well or that are just starting their blog;
  • Go over to their blogs and read a few posts, like and comment;
  • Say 3 things you love about their blogs; (3 things for each blogger);
  • Those 5 bloggers are automatically nominated to do the same.
  • Nominate two bloggers who have been doing this for a longer time (you get 7 nominees). Don’t forget to let them know you’ve nominated them!
New bloggers

Wandering Expat Family Julz describes herself as a serial expat. She has lived in several countries, but now lives in Mauritius with her husband and two kids. It’s fun to read about Mauritius, and she gives interesting little glimpses into life there.

Wondering Woman Tracey blogs all about her life wandering the world, and she enjoys trying cafes in new places. Who doesn’t love exploring new cuisine? She has many fun posts about Japan, which is how I found her blog in the first place. Sometimes she looks after dogs!

Cindy’s Travel Diaries Cindy blogs about discovering new places and finding beautiful landscapes. She has had some interesting learning experiences in Australia, which she has written about. ALSO, she writes all her posts in English and French, and she’ll soon be off to New Zealand for an internship.

30 Something Gap Year I like this blog because I’m also a thirty something. Jamie and Mike quit their jobs, sold some things, put other things in storage and are traveling the world. Oh, how many times I’ve dreamed of doing this…

Traveling Curiosity Leslie’s blog is about her time living and teaching South Korea. A topic that I can relate to. She has lots of tips about packing, traveling, and surviving in Korea.

Pro blogger

Becca Mayhem Becca’s blog struck me because it was also about her life in Japan. She has many posts on her life working for the JET program on an island in the south. Her writing is revealing of all the interesting little insights she has into Japan.

Kasia Write Abroad A Fellow Canadian, Kasia writes inspiring posts about cities, countries, and travel in general. She’s also very open and honest about travel and blogging.

Expat Panda is a South African blogger who, until very recently had been living in Kuwait. Her site also has a lot of gifs, which makes it unique and fun to read.

I really do have blogging Friends for Days. And this makes blogging so much fun.

Now, I shall go and let these bloggers know I have tagged them. You should also check them out.

  1. Congrats Jennifer….It’s always great getting to know fellow bloggers…will check out your nominations too. And I love Dippy Dotty Girl’s blog too, always a great read. 🙂

  2. Hey Jen! You do deserve this award and many more. You are so lovely to have done it. Thank you for the kind words about my blog, and I do feel the same way about yours, I would like you to know. The name’s Arundhati. Alas it does not carry the ring of Bond. But it will have to do. Sigh.

    I am looking forward to browsing the blogs I do not follow from your list. xx
